Acceptable Use Policy
Lem Gen rules for AI content standards, moderation, reporting, and enforcement.
Last updated: 2026-08-14
1. Scope
Lem Gen is committed to providing safe, lawful, and responsible AI content services. This Policy applies to all content searched, entered, uploaded, generated, edited, published, distributed, or stored through Lem Gen, including prompts, text, images, illustrations, audio, video, reference materials, generated outputs, and associated metadata. Every user must comply with this Policy.
2. Content Standards and Prohibited Categories
Lem Gen prohibits generating, distributing, or facilitating the following six categories:
- Pornography, explicit sexual material, or other NSFW content.
- Violence, severe gore, dismemberment, or content intended to facilitate harm.
- Hate speech or content promoting discrimination, harassment, or violence based on protected characteristics.
- Child-unsafe content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Non-consensual deepfakes, impersonation, or deceptive synthetic media targeting real people.
- Content infringing copyright, trademarks, publicity, privacy, or other third-party rights.
2.1 Absolutely Prohibited—Zero Tolerance
The following content will be actioned immediately and may be reported to the appropriate authorities:
- CSAM, any sexual content involving minors, or sexualized depictions of real, fictional, synthetic, or age-ambiguous minors.
- Content promoting, recruiting for, or facilitating terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
- Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
- Content inciting genocide, ethnic hatred, or violence against a protected group.
- Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting a real person.
- Other content that violates applicable law or creates an imminent risk of serious real-world harm.
2.2 Restricted—Subject to Review
- Non-graphic violent material with a clear journalistic, educational, historical, medical, or artistic context.
- Politically sensitive content or synthetic media that may mislead the public.
- Medical, legal, or financial information, which must not impersonate a licensed professional or be presented as personalized professional advice.
Pornography and NSFW material are prohibited, not restricted content.
2.3 Generally Prohibited Conduct
- Creating or spreading misinformation, disproven claims, or deceptive commercial content.
- Impersonating a real person, brand, organization, or government entity.
- Deliberately passing AI-generated content off as human-created to deceive or harm others.
- Bulk-generating spam, phishing content, malware, or instructions for bypassing security controls.
- Using jailbreak prompts, fragmented instructions, encoding, or other techniques to evade safety controls.
- Uploading or using personal data, confidential information, or protected material you are not authorized to process.
3. Content Moderation
We use layered moderation combining automated checks, human review, and periodic audits.
3.1 Automated Review
- Prompts may be checked for risky keywords, semantic meaning, and intent.
- Inputs and generated outputs may be reviewed through AI-provider and platform safety controls.
- We may analyze anomalous request volume, repeated circumvention, and other high-risk usage patterns.
- High-risk requests may be rejected before generation or restricted afterward.
3.2 Human Review
- Automatically flagged, user-reported, or payment-partner-referred content may enter human review.
- Reviewers access relevant content only as needed for investigation, safety, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
- Automated systems can make mistakes; users may request review through the channels below.
3.3 Periodic Audits
Based on risk and service scale, we may sample public and flagged content and evaluate the accuracy of safety controls. Moderation measures may change in response to new abuse patterns, legal duties, or partner requirements.
3.4 Severity Levels
| Level | Example | Review | Action | | ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------- | | L1—Critical | Child safety, terrorism, credible mass-violence threats | Auto-block and priority human confirmation | Immediate ban and legally required report | | L2—High | Severe violence, non-consensual deepfakes, major fraud | Auto-flag and priority review | Remove content and suspend account | | L3—Medium | General infringement, hate, impersonation, or deception | Human review | Warning, removal, or feature restriction | | L4—Low | Minor or first-time violation | Report-triggered or sampled | Warning and required edit |
4. Reporting
You may report content or behavior that violates this Policy, critical child-safety or terrorism risks, AI impersonation, or infringement of your copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights.
Our reporting principles are:
- Confidentiality: We protect reporter identity and contact details to the extent permitted by law.
- Impartiality: Reports are objectively reviewed based on the available evidence.
- Anti-abuse: Malicious, harassing, or knowingly false reports may be recorded and restricted.
5. Reporting Channels
- Submit a support ticket after signing in.
- Email support@lemgen.org with “Content Safety Report” in the subject line.
Where possible, provide the content URL, screenshots, relevant account, description, date, and evidence of any rights you assert. If anyone is in immediate danger, also contact the appropriate local law-enforcement or emergency authority.
6. Response and Processing Targets
| Severity | Target initial response | Target resolution | | ----------- | ----------------------- | ----------------------- | | L1—Critical | Within 2 hours | Within 24 hours | | L2—High | Within 24 hours | Within 3 business days | | L3—Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days | | L4—Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
These are targets under normal conditions. Complex, cross-border, or third-party-dependent matters may require additional time; where practical, we will notify the reporter. The usual workflow is receipt, triage, automated and human review, decision, enforcement, and notification.
7. Enforcement Actions
Depending on the nature, severity, impact, and history of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a written warning and require an edit or an end to the conduct.
- Refuse generation, hide, remove, or restrict violating content.
- Restrict model, credit, payment, sharing, or other features.
- Temporarily suspend an account while an investigation is pending.
- Permanently terminate an account for L1 or repeated severe violations and prevent circumvention or repeat registration.
- Preserve necessary evidence, cooperate with rights holders, payment partners, or law enforcement, and report suspected criminal L1 violations where required or permitted by law.
We may act immediately without prior warning for serious, repeated, or deliberate violations. Unused credits, subscription benefits, and refunds will be handled under applicable law, the Terms, and the Refund Policy.
8. Appeals
An affected user may appeal within 14 days of receiving a decision by submitting a support ticket or emailing support@lemgen.org with relevant order, content, context, and supporting evidence. We normally review appeals within 10 business days and, where practical, use a reviewer who did not make the original decision. An appeal does not automatically pause temporary measures needed to protect users or public safety.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy as the product, risks, law, or partner requirements change. Material changes will normally be announced through the site or service at least 15 days in advance, except where urgent safety or legal requirements require immediate effect. Continued use of Lem Gen constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
